Are you planning a vertical garden or a small home-grow setup for leafy greens? If so, do you know how much light to provide fo optimal leafy green growth?
The optimum amount of light depends on two factors.
The 1700e LED grow light is a full spectrum, low profile, high intensity fixture used for horizontal or multi-layer commercial grows, greenhouses, grow rooms, low rooms and tents.
This LED grow light is 44.1" x 43.7" x 2.3" and it weighs 28.4 lbs. It contains 8 conformally-coated, PCBs backed by aluminum heatsinks. The LED bars are held in place by the I-shaped frame. Two 120-277V Philips drivers are encased in the middle of the fixture.
The fixture’s dimensions are 37.75" x 36.75" x 3.25" and it weighs 26 lbs. The Mega Pro arrives in the box folded in half. To use the fixture, simply unfold it and hang it up with the included wire hangers to expose the wide form factor.
The Mega Pro is all aluminum and has a minimalist look. The drivers and central control lie in the middle of the unit, while three LED PCBs sit on each side of the driver box. NextLight stuck with this design for the new fixture, which is similar to the previous Mega. This unique design is a breath of fresh air in an LED market crowded with bar-style fixtures.
ThinkGrow designed this light to be modular which allows for compact shipping and removable and replaceable bars should one bar ever fail. The bars are fairly lightweight, feel pretty sturdy, and simply snap into the center driver assembly.
Once put together, the fixture is 45"L x 44.6"W x 4.44"H and weighs 38.8 lbs. The eight bars stretch nearly to the edge of a 4x4 tent. On one side of the driver assembly, you will find the power cord and controller receptacles. The other side houses the interface with the onboard dimmer and grouping control. A cord and NEMA 6-15P plug is included in the box. You can choose to add a NEMA 5-15P 120v adapter plug at the time of order.
